i have also annotated my art work for example when i drew out words in bubble writing and stuck them onto a piece of paper and painted around them in a certain colour.

i have tried many little projects to help me figure out how i am to present my final idea for example i sketched out bubble writing and used blue tack to stick the bubble writing down then i used paint and dabbed around the letters and after i removed the bubble writing template and then the word was left on the piece of paper.

i have wrote some words out in bubble writing and then using blue tack i stuck the words to a blank sheet of paper, and then used the paint and dabbed around the words in the colour that represents the word.
e.g - red means thunder, green means life, red means blood and black means night.
i know this as i researched the meanings of colours from different countries for example in china red means joy and good fortune.

I have been trying a few different ways of doing a Paul Jackson Pollock's type of work as well as Daniel Eatock's type of art work. I did this by using coloured cellophane, chalk and paint. I cut out some circles from the cellophane with a range of different sizes and then overlapping them to create a range of different colours. I liked this way of creating a Daniel Eatock type of work because it was quick and easy was of achieving a very effictive look. I chose some black card and coloured chalk and then drew different coloured circles and overlap coloures.

For my initial piece i am going to try and recreate Daniel Eatock's style of art and use coloured cellophane to make an image like this

Thursday, 27 September 2012

i am going to merge images into colours like this.
For my initial idea is to use the meanings of colours from different countries and cultures and then merge the meanings into the correct colour like paul jackson pollock.
